The purpose of the Zoning By-law amendment application is to accommodate the existing equipment storage and landscape material supply business operating on the Subject Site and rezone the property from RU to a site-specific RG.
A Site Plan Control application to construct a 5,145 square metre heavy industrial development with fuel storage and sales and heavy vehicle and equipment storage and servicing. A parking lot with 60 employee parking spaces, two loading spaces two vehicle access from Somme Street is proposed.
The proposed development is to construct a two-storey granite showroom and warehouse with 37 parking spaces. The showroom will not be open to the public but will be by appointment only.

A Site Plan Control application to construct a one-storey warehouse building with approximately 3,851 square meters in light industrial / warehouse space and 203 square meters in office space.
The proposed development will feature a 4,000m2 facility which includes ninety (90) parking spaces, eighty-four (84) tractor spaces, and one hundred thirty-nine (139) trailer spaces. Portions of the Subject Site will remain as undeveloped areas for the enhancement of the realigned headwaters feature and buffer from wetlands. The facility when completed, will serve as a critical truck transport terminal and cross dock facility for the movement of goods and materials throughout the City of Ottawa and greater Eastern Ontario region.
