The City of Ottawa has received an application to amend its Official Plan to expand the Urban Boundary. The proposed expansion would include the Stittsville West Urban Expansion Area and all for the future development of approximately 2,391 new homes.
The City of Ottawa has received Plan of Subdivision and Zoning By-Law amendment applications to develop a residential subdivision comprised of approximately 1,700 dwelling units, including detached, townhouse and stacked dwellings, a park, a natural heritage/municipal drain block, and open space blocks.
The City of Ottawa has received an Official Plan Amendment application to lift the Future Neighbourhood Overlay and allow for the development of a residential subdivision. The applicant is proposing a residential subdivision with 1,439 dwelling units. These will include low-rise built forms such as detached homes, townhouses, and stacked dwellings. The proposal also includes areas for parks, environmental buffers, stormwater management ponds, and several public streets to support the development.
Zoning By-law Amendment, Site Plan Control
A Zoning By-law Amendment is requested to rezone the site from Development Reserve, Subzone 1 (DR1) to appropriate zones to accommodate the proposed uses. Proposed zones include: Village Third Density Residential Zone B (V3B) for all residential uses; and Parks and Open Space Zone (01) for the park block, stormwater pond and well block.

The proposed amendment is to remove the floodplain overlay from the subject property. The place of worship is proposed to include six (6) rooming units. A total of 108 parking surface spaces are proposed.

Amendments may also be required to permit a higher density through the inclusion of back-to-back townhomes within the development.

A Site Plan Control application to construct a two-storey addition with a total Gross Floor Area of 1,975 square metres. The addition proposes to expand the existing place of worship and add a dual-purpose assembly hall and community centre space. The parking lot is proposed to be expanded from 86 spaces to 188 spaces.
