The proposed development is to demolish the existing 1-storey dwelling along with the existing 2 accessory structures in the rear and construct a 4-storey, 28-unit low-rise apartment dwelling. The proposed development proposes 28 bicycle parking spaces, zero vehicular parking spaces, a 1.8 m walkway from the sidewalk directly to the front door.
A Site Plan Control application has been received to construct a four-storey low-rise apartment building with two basement levels for 23 supportive housing units, a storage area for bicycle parking in the rear yard, and no on-site vehicular parking.
The proposed development, which will have the address of 282 Laurier Avenue East, contemplates a four-storey addition along the east face of the existing six-storey, residential building located on the subject property.
