How often is the data updated?
The pipeline re-pulls every city on a weekly basis. The data behind this page was last refreshed on 2026-07-15, and the most recent Montréal record is dated 2026-07-13. The gap between those two dates is the City's own publishing lag, not ours.
Does this include every building permit in Montréal?
Every permit issued since 2015-01-01 is searchable — all 253,622 of them, including re-roofs, garages and minor renovations. Only the 2,602 major projects get their own page and a dot on the default map. No project value and no status lifecycle. The dwelling-unit field is empty on about 87% of records, so on the rest the count is read out of the French description of the works and is an estimate. Around 2% of records carry placeholder coordinates and are treated as ungeocoded.
